本篇所收錄之四支音檔，皆為 “Buddha's Head”「釋迦樂團」於1997年12月至1998年3月間所錄製的四軌錄音作品，經數位轉檔後之原始版本。曲目分別為〈848〉、〈幹〉、〈番薯〉、〈警察車〉，未曾發行亦未進入專業後製。樂團成員為阿治（吳金治）、小黑（葛皇濱）及已故台灣重要噪音藝術家Dino（廖銘和）。

「Popular Hell Music」為Dino（廖銘和）、阿治（吳金治）與友人們於九〇年代所合作開設的小唱片行，以販售二手唱片為主。唱片行名稱當時也作為廠牌名稱，並曾以此廠牌之名於1997年發行過《手工噪音》卡帶專輯（由阿治、Dino、Vivid 聯合發行）；但該專輯作品在當年已連同母帶一同售出，現已不存。唱片行舊址位於台中縣龍井鄉遠東街上（今台中市龍井區遠東街）。
